About Your Trainer – Derek Wyatt

My name is Derek Wyatt and I am a Royal Life Saving Society approved trainer. I have been actively involved with swimming, life saving and first-aid training in South Devon for over 20 years.

I currently hold positions with Devon County Amateur Swimming Association and Paignton Swimming Club, and I was the Devon County ASA President in 2016-2017.

I provide initial and refresher first-aid and lifeguard training courses, including:

• First Aid at Work
• Emergency First Aid at Work
• Paediatric First Aid
• Emergency Paediatric First Aid
• AED (Defibrillator) Training
• Community Life support Awards; for schools and other groups
• National Pool Lifeguard Courses (NPLQ)
